This Policy on the Use of Cookies and Similar Technologies (hereinafter referred to as the \u201ePolicy\u201c) governs the use of cookies, similar technologies and related analytical, functional and marketing tools on the website of AXEN Logistics s.r.o., with its registered office at S\u00fa\u013eovsk\u00e1 5808\/21, 040 11 Ko\u0161ice \u2013 Z\u00e1pad district, Company Registration Number: 46 027 289, registered in the Commercial Register of the Ko\u0161ice Municipal Court, Section Sro, File No. 27357\/V (hereinafter referred to as the \u201eController\u201c).<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  2. The purpose of these Rules is to provide visitors to the website with information on the use of cookies and similar technologies, the purposes for which they are used, the legal bases for the processing of the relevant data, options for managing cookie settings, and users\u2019 rights.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  3. Cookies and similar technologies may be used, in particular, for:
    (a) ensuring the proper functioning of the website,
    (b) ensuring the technical operation and security of the website,
    (c) storing user settings,
    (d) an analysis of website traffic and usage,
    (e) measuring the performance of the website and marketing campaigns,
    (f) the personalisation of content or marketing communications, provided there is an appropriate legal basis for doing so.<\/li>\n\n\n\n

The controller uses cookies and similar technologies in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016\/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council (GDPR), Act No. 18\/2018 Coll. on the protection of personal data and amending certain acts, as amended, Act No. 452\/2021 Coll. on Electronic Communications, as amended, and other relevant legislation.<\/li>\n\n\n\n

      (c) web beacons,
      (d) local storage in a web browser (Local Storage or Session Storage),
      (e) third-party analytics and marketing tools,
      (f) other technologies that enable the collection or storage of information on the use of the website.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    3. For the purposes of these Rules, the term \u201ecookies\u201c is also used as a collective term for cookies and similar technologies, unless the context indicates otherwise.<\/li>\n\n\n\n

      (a) only for the duration of the visit to the website (session cookies), which are automatically deleted when the web browser is closed,

        2. Essential cookies, which are necessary to ensure the functioning of the website, its security, stability or the provision of a service expressly requested by the user, may be used without the user\u2019s consent, provided that this is permitted under the relevant legislation.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
        3. Functional, analytical, marketing and other cookies that are not essential for the operation of the website, are generally used by the operator only on the basis of the user\u2019s prior consent, given via a cookie banner or another consent management tool.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
        4. Consent to the use of cookies is voluntary. Users are not obliged to consent to the use of analytical, marketing or other non-essential cookies, and failure to give such consent does not affect their ability to use the website\u2019s basic functions.<\/li>\n\n\n\n

          (c) compliance with the Controller\u2019s legal obligations, where such processing is required by the relevant legislation.<\/li>\n\n\n\n

            3. The operator may, in particular, make use of the services provided by the following companies:
              (a) Google,
              (b) Meta,
              (c) LinkedIn,
              (d) Microsoft,
              (e) providers of analytical, marketing, cloud or security solutions, or other providers of similar services.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
            4. The use of specific third-party tools may change over time depending on the Controller\u2019s technical, operational or marketing needs. The tools currently in use and the categories of cookies are made available to the user via the cookie banner, the cookie settings centre or another consent management tool.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
            5. Where personal data is processed via third-party tools, such processing is carried out in accordance with the GDPR and other relevant legislation. Further details on the processing of personal data are set out in the document \u201eAXEN Logistics s.r.o. Privacy Policy\u201c.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
            6. Some third-party service providers may process data outside the European Economic Area. In such cases, the Controller takes appropriate measures to ensure the protection of personal data in accordance with the GDPR, in particular by making use of adequacy decisions, standard contractual clauses or other legal mechanisms recognised by European Union legislation.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
            7. The operator is not responsible for the content, data processing terms or privacy policies of third parties. Users are advised to familiarise themselves with the terms and privacy policies of the relevant third-party service providers.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

              Final Provisions<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

              1. This Policy on the Use of Cookies and Similar Technologies governs the use of cookies and similar technologies on the Controller\u2019s website and supplements the document \u201ePrivacy Policy of AXEN Logistics s.r.o.\u201c.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
              2. The Operator is entitled to amend or supplement these Rules as appropriate, in particular for the following reasons:
                (a) changes to legislation,
                (b) changes to the technologies used,
                (c) changes to the website\u2019s functionality,
                (d) changes to the services provided,
                (e) changes to the analytical, marketing or security tools used.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
              3. The current version of these Rules is published on the Operator\u2019s website.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
              4. If any provision of these Rules becomes or is deemed to be invalid, ineffective or unenforceable, this shall not affect the validity, effectiveness or enforceability of the remaining provisions of these Rules.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
              5. Matters not covered by these Rules shall be governed by the relevant legislation of the Slovak Republic and the directly applicable legislation of the European Union, in particular the GDPR and the legislation governing electronic communications.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
